Machine – Research and Preparation
Gonzalo assigned us a project for this term: compositing a 3D render onto a given video. The theme he proposed is machinery. To develop my concept, I conducted research and compiled my findings on a page.

Initially, I had limited knowledge about machinery, so I extensively searched for images related to machines. During this process, I came across an image of a time machine, and I decided to incorporate it into the room. Given my modest modeling skills, I plan to simplify the shape and integrate various objects in the image. Additionally, if time permits, I aim to add a portal effect and depict the machine in action within the footage.

After conducting my research, I proceeded with matchmoving for the garage scene. Firstly, the original plate underwent undistortion before initiating the camera tracker analysis. I utilized the lens grid provided by Gonzalo and connected it to the original plate. Subsequently, I added the CameraTracker node and inputted information such as focal length and film back preset. Thanks to the provided information, I was able to progress through this stage efficiently. Following that, I applied the rest steps learned in the last class.
I completed the first stage, and here is the result.
