Composite with Green Screen source

For this week’s homework, I delved into the intricacies of the green screen technique. Gonzalo introduced us to various methods, and I opted to explore the creation of several mattes for green screen work. I segmented the matte into core, base, and hair, while also implementing despill for the edge and core. This technique proved instrumental in enhancing the clarity of the outline and capturing finer details, particularly in the man’s hair.
Upon completing the green screen removal, I observed a green color part on the man’s arm, causing a hole due to keylight. To address this, I employed roto for that specific area, resulting in a much-improved appearance.
Gonzalo provided valuable feedback on the output during the last class. One key aspect I overlooked was the necessity for the background to shake in sync with the camera movement. Rectifying this, I applied a tracker to synchronize the background shake with the camera, resulting in a more natural and cohesive effect. This homework proved to be an invaluable opportunity to thoroughly review and refine my understanding of green screen techniques.
