EP – Rough Cut Edit

After completing the animatic with the storyboard, I filmed again using Blackmagic and Canon cameras. Almost all of the scenes are static, but when the character moves, some scenes have dynamic movement. For the first attempt, I filmed handheld. Unfortunately, there was too much shaking, so I had to try again with a gimbal. Experimenting with the gimbal was quite interesting because I could link it with my phone and move the gimbal by moving my phone. I wasn’t used to working with so much filming equipment, so I gained a lot of experience. Despite the successful experiment, the final video I filmed was still very shaky due to the weight of the gimbal.

Therefore, I will try using a GoPro next time, although it caused a lot of flickering last time, with different lighting settings in the room. I suspect that one of the lights in my room is causing flickering in almost all of the cameras due to its frequency. Now, my filming process is almost complete, and I hope to achieve a satisfying outcome with the next attempt.
