Unreal scene setup – Caustic Material
Given that my project revolves around an underwater environment, I downloaded an underwater Blueprint file on the internet. However, in an effort to enhance its quality, I realized the importance of comprehending each component and constructing them individually. To achieve this, I referred to a tutorial to generate a Caustic material. Despite finding the structure challenging, the end result was visually pleasing.


To improve the animation and address the issue of the caustic effect not looping seamlessly, I recognize the necessity for additional study and experimentation. This involves refining the texture source and adjusting the parameters of the nodes to achieve the desired outcome.

I resolved that issue, it was because of the scale of the second texture. Eventually, I deleted the second texture in material, then I duplicated it and adjusted the figure. Now it works seamlessly!
